MORE KACHINAS I AM ON FIYAH.

Based on clowns and owls! The clowns run around and behave badly and if someone from the community is being bad, they’ll imitate the person so blatantly that everyone will know who they’re aping and they will feel BURNING SHAME. It’s a little passive aggressive. The owl guy (based on a kachina named Mongwhu) is just aggressive, if you’re doing something bad he comes outta nowhere and whacks you with a stick (stick not pictured). I admire his no-nonsense approach.

As a Kachina carver i must say that i am udderly and profoundly.....amused!

i am not native but was drawn into the hopi myths and legends growing up in New Mexico and took an intrest to kachinas at a early age, your take on them are quite charming and i look forward to seeing more!
